In the mid-1960s in Eastern Europe, durring Cold War Coca-Cola was a drink shrouded in mystery and myth. The history of "Coca-Cola" for Bulgaria, however, is very interesting. The biggest contribution to Coca-Cola to start being imported to Bulgaria is a man named Toncho Mihailov. He was a technologist in the soft drinks division of the Bulgarian company Texim. The machines used are imported from France. So Toncho Mihailov was sent from Bulgaria to France, specializing in Paris, to get acquainted with the operation and operation of the machines. And that's where the story of Coca Cola in Bulgaria begins. Mihailov ordered Fanta during his dinner at a local bistro and he really liked the drink. He inquired a little more and asked to be contacted by the company that produced it. So he ended up at the local Coca-Cola branch.
