Description
Every WIREOPTIM spool of wire is precision wound via hands-off computerized machines, perfectly tensioned, and handled with care in a clean environment to ensure only the highest quality product lands in your hands. Say goodbye to tangles, oil, skin salts, and other debris or contaminants. Stainless Steel 316L wire has excellent general corrosion resistance, generally more resistant than 304. Stainless Steel 316L is an extremely-low carbon that minimizes harmful carbide precipitation from welding. Good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 870 °C and in continuous service to 925 °C. Grade 316L is more resistant to carbide precipitation and can be used in the above temperature range. Typical applications include:Applications:
Food Preparation Equipment (especially in chloride environments)
Chemical processing, equipment
Laboratory benches and equipment
Rubber, plastics, pulp & paper machinery
Pollution control equipment
Boat fittings, value and pump trim
Heat exchangers
Pharmaceutical and textile industries
Condensers, evaporators and tanks
Medical implants, including pins, screws and orthopedic implants like total hip and knee replacements
