Exquisite! antique French Faience Quimper Ceramic hand painted platter-tray marked on the back with a symbol we believe is for *Georges Martel* MG and another mark in blue (Round circle with Nogue a Brest) inside,the town of Brest in France is located less than a hour from Quimper. The platter having scalloped edges in the center a couple of Porquier Beau Bretons in top of the couple a Armorial Shield,all framed with a superb!! blue arabesque design border. This is indeed very attractive piece that will make the lucky owner very happy!!. Provenance: From a Palm Beach, Florida private collection. Measurements: The Tray measures approx. 11-1/2" (24.2cm) Long x approx. 9" (23cm) in Depth.
